Background
Remote Viewing – “The alleged psychic ability to perceive places, persons and actions that are not within the range of the senses” –The Skeptic Dictionary, (http://skepdic.com/remotevw.html)
When I came across one of Craig Hogan’s websites, The Greater Reality, I saw a few descriptions of psi experiments that I was not familiar with. I sent Craig email asking for references and he took the time to forward me the links along with some explanations. I had a brief discussion with him via email. At the time, I saw that he mentioned remote viewing on his site, but I was not aware that he had done any remote viewing himself.
About a month later, I found an interesting theory—The Theory of Enformed Systems (TES), by Don Watson. This is the first scientific theory that accounts for both physical and non-physical dimensions and it explains among other things, quantum entanglement, telepathy, and clairvoyance. I remembered Craig’s website and thought he might be interested, so I forwarded him the link. His response was:
"I hadn't looked closely at the link you sent to me until a couple of days later. Turns out the author of the Web site (Don Watson) and I have been corresponding for a couple of months. I've done some remote viewing in which I e-mailed him descriptions of objects he placed on a desk in his office somewhere. I used remote viewing and we manipulated the circumstances to try some things out."
Out of literally thousands of Internet sites discussing these topics, I happened to forward a link between two individuals who were working together. I discussed it with Craig and we agreed to try a few sessions. Initially, we did five sessions over a period of about two weeks, in which Craig described objects in my home. The details of these sessions are given here:
Craig Hogan's Remote Viewing Sessions with Bill Walker
NOTE: I am using the term "remote viewing," but these are informal experiments, not following the actual remote viewing protocol, so some may claim that it is not actually "remote viewing". I use the term because it is a good description of what took place. If you are interested in the formal protocol, and other remote viewing information, you can find it on PJ Gaenir's website.
Discussion
These sessions proved to me, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Craig was indeed registering impressions of objects in my home. Since I had recently corresponded with Stephen S., producer of "In Another Life: Reincarnation in America," I asked for his opinion of these experiments. Assuming there was no fraud on my part, Stephen's response was: "I found the evidence in your informal test of remote viewing to be convincing and far beyond chance, especially given the drawings made of relatively unique objects drawn from an infinite pool of possible objects, so far as Craig knew."
I sent email to Don Watson, and asked if he would review the session descriptions. Don also agreed with my assessment that the odds of Craig simply "guessing" these descriptions were "astronomically high." But Don was not surprised, because he had obtained similar results with Craig. Don has a scientific background and had already done more detailed experiments, for example, to distinguish between components of clairvoyance and telepathy in remote perception.
Dr. Stephen Phillips also reviewed the sessions and was convinced by Craig's results. Dr. Phillips is a British physicist, and author of "ESP of Quarks and Superstrings."
Having read many of Carl Japikse's books, including "The Revelation of Light," which is specifically about the psychic dimensions of life, I sent him email describing what I had witnessed, and asked for his explanation. I specifically asked how Craig was able to do this, given just my name and state (there are about 68 Bill Walkers in New Jersey) and about viewing of "target" objects versus other objects in the room. His reply was:
"Let me try to explain it this way. Every time you think of someone, you are psychically connected to them, even if they are miles away. This linkage occurs even if you have not met the person, so long as there are enough elements known to connect you. While there may be numerous Bill Walkers in NJ, there is probably only one who is interested in remote viewing experiments. In addition, this individual obviously knew your email address and was interested in participating in the experiment. This information would be more than sufficient to narrow the field to just one Bill Walker."
"Once he focused on you (even if he did not know he was doing so), he began examining elements close to you. Psychically, he could not distinguish between Bill Walker's table in one room or another, or between objects on the table or close to it. So he began responding to objects that were of interest to him, rather than objects you may have been thinking about or focusing on. In essence, a portion of his consciousness was exploring your habitat during the experiment."
Carl's meaning of being "psychically connected" is fully described in "The Revelation of Light." The mechanism is something all psychologists are familiar with -- the subconscious part of our mind. I would also like to further clarify Carl's remark about "exploring your habitat", with a relevant quote from "The Revelation of Light" (chapter 6, page 77):
"As we explore the astral and mental worlds psychically, we gradually become aware that these emotional and mental energies are something more than just fascinating but independent phenomena that have no meaning to the physical plane of life. In addition to being well organized and expressive at their own dimensions, the astral and mental worlds interact with each other -- and with physical realities as well."
"The interaction is of great significance to us, for there is a rich subtle counterpart to all physical forms of earth. Our books, homes, offices, and furniture all have astral and mental elements associated with them, as do geographical locations."
It is further explained how the objects in our homes "absorb" the mental and emotional forces that we project. These forces can be both good (such as love and respect for other family members) or bad (such as anger, resentment or tension). While there are people who "remote view" things like photographs, physical locations, and image files on the Internet, Craig confirmed that for some reason, he found it easier to get accurate impressions from items in someone's home. This agrees with the explanations in the book quoted above.
This also accounts for people who have had near death experiences and have accurately reported details that occurred in an operating room, for example, while they were "unconscious," and their physical brains were not functioning. They were not seeing physical objects or events with their eyes, but the astral projections of the objects or events.
Don Watson also provided a succinct description of this phenomena, based on TES:
"Remote viewing occurs when the SELF, Craig for instance, coheres in space-time with the SELF, Bill (or Don), and shares enformation. under TES, Craig can also cohere in space-time with the SELF of any enformed system."
I see this as being in agreement with Carl Japikse's description. Both describe the interaction between the persons involved, as well as examining the objects themselves. In Carl's terms, these are astral and mental components of the objects, or in Don's terms, the "SELF of any enformed system."
